Beautiful old beau artes building in the old part of Montevideo.
Flat has high windows, wooden floors and an eclectic mix of Art Deco and antique furniture along with the most modern plumbing fixtures.
The host is a nice guy and extremely informative and helpful, he even carried our bags up the 4 flights of stairs to our room as the lift was broken.
Within walking distance of mercado de Puerto a must experience for the lunch time food fest and close to other historic sites.
Would recommend it to friends as long as the lift/elevator was repaired.
One minor thing you have to pay for your electricity at the end of your stay, only 70 pesos for 2 days in our case.
Its an amazing apartment, located at the plaza matriz, a really nice little park with music and food (specially good ice cream) :). The apartment has all you need, included a good view threw the old town and its very charming.
