The back bedroom has a queen size bed, bedside table and lots of closet space. East facing window for a lovely breeze at night. This room has a private four piece bathroom (toilet, sink, shower, tub). The second bedroom has two single beds, plenty of closet space and storage. There is a second full bathroom next to the other bedroom, just off the kitchen. The living room has a brand new sleeper sofa for additional sleeping spots. You will have your own keys so that you can come and go as you wish.
Parking: There are three options for parking. 1) Municipal lot two blocks away, good option if you arrive before 5pm (visitor permit required 2) Street parking - good option if you arrive before 5pm, as spots are very limited. Let us know if you decide to park in the lot or on the street, as we’ll provide you with a visitor permit ($25 deposit, held until permit is returned ) 3) reserved parking spot next door, this is $10 per day.
Coin-op washer/dryer downstairs, Patio area behind apartment where you can have a cigarette (please close apt windows first) or just sit with a cup of coffee. Fast, reliable WiFi connection. Full kitchen available as well. I live right around the corner and I'm available to help you however I can. I look forward to sharing my favorite NYC places with you.
It's a breath of fresh air after spending a crazy tiring day in the city. You'll come home to quiet streets, people walking dogs, neighbors chatting with neighbors and families out for a stroll. We are so close to Manhattan, and if you could fly, you'd be there in 3km's. But you have to go through the tunnel, so it takes about 10 minutes, could be a bit longer in times of heavy traffic. Buses run EVERY 5 minutes, you will never wait longer than this.
Super convenient. 24/7 bus stop is less than 2 blocks away, and easy to walk home at any time of the night. You will have detailed info on how to get in/out of the city. I provide an info binder in the apartment.
This is a very low crime area, it's filled with families and people who live in Weehawken and likely work in the city. It's a great place! I have another listing across the street, and another around the corner. If you're lost, just ask for Maria (Milu = Maria Lurdes), everyone knows me.
There is a great store on the corner where you can get a yummy bacon and egg sandwich in the morning, and another store where you can get a six pack of beer at 9pm. Lots of small restaurants nearby.
I live very close by, and I will be very happy to help you plan your itinerary. I am available on Viber, What's App, by text or email to help you with whatever I can.
This is a quiet neighborhood near one of the major traffic arteries into Manhattan. We're a few blocks from the Lincoln Tunnel, but far enough away that you can rest comfortably without having crazy city noise to deal with. Spending the day in NYC is so much fun, but it's also fun to have a relaxing place to rest so that you can tackle touring again the next day!
All guests must be included in guest count, including children and toddlers.
Here are some facts about transportation: the apartment is 2 minutes (3 blocks) walking from the Park Avenue bus stop. The jitney bus is very frequent, I rarely wait for it more than 2 to 3 minutes. Most of the time you won't even wait at all. You will get to the bus stop and a bus will be there. Buses are available 24/7 so you can catch them even when you spend the whole evening out.
The price of these express buses is $3 onboard, and for one bus in particular (Gate 51) $2.50 if you buy tickets at ticket window #23 at Port Authority Bus Terminal. Please note that if you buy tickets for this bus, you can only use the tickets for this bus, not on the "all night" buses. You won't find a timetable or route on the internet for these buses, it's a private bus company that runs many lines in and out of Manhattan.
You can look on Wiki under "Spanish Transportation" if you're interested in the history of this private service. NJTransit #22 runs every 30 minutes into Hoboken, home of the Cake Boss, Birthplace of Frank Sinatra and Baseball (where you can also catch the PATH into Manhattan 33rd Street and/or the World Trade Center) and NJTransit #123 every 15-30 minutes (during commute hours) into Manhattan’s Port Authority (42nd Street & 8th Avenue – Times Square), Easy city bus access to Jersey Garden Outlet Mall, much closer and as good as Woodbury Commons. We are also close to Hoboken, Weehawken and Jersey City.

I can't rate the apartment, because Milu gave use a house close to the apartment after the air condition broke. The house was perfect. Very clean and nice. There are a lot of restaurants and small shops. It is so easy to get to New York, try the "chicken bus". Thank you Milu
My friend and I loved our stay in Maria's apartment! Maria was already there waiting for us at check-in and gave us a great orientation to the apartment. The 'chicken bus' outside the post office was awesome and an easy way to get right into the city. The apartment was clean and tidy and well equipped with supplies. Thanks Maria for an amazing time in NYC!

We are a family of 5 people and stayed in the Jefferson Street apartment for 9 days in August 2015.
The apartment is very spacious, has modern interiors and is equipped with all usual things you would need for a comfortable stay. There is a laundry shop across the street and a shopping center in about 7 minutes walking distance. The neighborhood is relaxed and easy going although New York is just across the river and Hamilton Park (offering a spectacular view on the skyline) only a short walk away.
Commuting to and from New York is easy with local buses stopping close to the apartment that take you in 10 to 15 minutes through the Lincoln tunnel to Times Square. We never waited more than 5 Minutes for a bus. A single bus ride is $ 3,- and not included in the Metrocard for the New York subway system.
The most valuable asset of the apartment however is Milu, the landlady. She is not just very friendly but also very competent when her guests need advice or help with little problems.
We fully recommend the place.
The Apartment was as discriped. Fully equiped, nice Interieur, quite neighbourhood. It´s just a 20 Minute trip to get to Times Square.
It was a very nice trip to New York and the apartment was excellent! It was all very clean and overall everything was perfect. Milu is a very nice host. You are in 15 min at the Time Square. This is really very good.
Thank you Milu for the great apartment.
You are the first choice if I'll visit New York again!
Just Wirth Simple wird's : Absolutely Perfect !!!!
As well the accomodation as well Maria and Jay who
really take care for their guests regarding all matters.
This Spot is a absolutely Must for everyone who wanted to have
a nice and relaxing Trip to New York.
Bus Station and supermarket within Short walking distance.
Wie surely will recommend this to our Friends and further.
Many thanks again.
Excellent appartment to unwind after a full-on day in Manhattan. The local busses are great, although we never got in Manhattan in 5 minutes, more like half an hour due to traffic jams in the Tunnel. Safe, friendly neighbourhood with restaurants nearby.
