This is a charming room with a double bed very comfortable and nice. The rest of the house is shared and fully furnished. There is a living area, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a toilet, bath and shower. Watch the sun setting on the Parramatta River over drinks from the cast iron lace veranda opening off the formal dining room or walk to the water's edge for a picnic under the Bridge watching the Harbour traffic.
Public transport at the door. Shops, galleries, restaurants, theaters just moments away. Tree lined street in local diverse neighborhood. Village atmosphere in the city with colonial architecture, harbour views, theaters, restaurants, shops and museums. Vibrant and colorful with weekend markets, food stalls and entertainment. Cafes and restaurants abound. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and is undergoing complete conservation back to its Georgian origins. Bus at the front door, ferries and trains a short 10 minute stroll away.

The location is unbelievably suited for anyone that wants to experience Sydney. It is so close to great neighbourhoods, restaurants, transportation, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House that everything you could want to experience is convenient and easy to get to.
Robert is a great host, very polite and willing to chat or leave you to your own devices without issue.
The house is lovely but was still undergoing some renovation while I was there which is why my rating wasn't a full 5 stars. Once renovations are complete this place will be absolutely stellar. The top floor is very hot in the summer so I would suggest one of the rooms on the lower floors if you're planning to stay during the summer months. If it is your first time in Sydney you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to begin your adventure!
