Roof-top Apartment in Jerusalem
It's a walking distance from the Old City and close to the many restaurants of Baqaa and the German Colony. The apartment is very central, with small shops all around, from vegetable stalls to the butcher, take away food, coffee shops and local bars. The balcony is the highlight of the apartment. It is spacious, quiet and green.
I have no TV but there is a piano and many books you may borrow (please replace on the sheves).
Limited Kosher facilities are available.
Bus no. 7 below the apartment goes to town and the Hebrew University (Givat Ram's campus).

Although it was a bit uncommon for us to stay in someone elses home, we felt comfortable in your appartment with its nice roofgarden.
We appreciate your welcome letter and all the information (by books and apps) you gave us. It was nice to meet you in person the day we left.
We will rent your appartment when we're visiting Jerusalem again.

Neat place. Fine terrace. Good bed. Considerate host. Pleasant restaurant downstairs. Plenty of busses downtown.
Hence value for money.
The flat is great, with a big balcony on the roof, with plants and flowers, located in the nice quarter of Jerusalem. The location is very convenient, it is only 20 minutes walk from the Jaffa Gate (entrance to the Old City). Meraw (host) is very helpful and nice. I hope to come back.
Very nice place only 20 min walk from the old city follow the path via the old rail line and then turn right and follow the paths close to the main road that leads to the Jaffa gate
We were thirteen days in the apartment (april 2015) and enjoyed it very much for a number of reasons:
- There is a big terrace on the roof, with plants and flowers
- There is a bed for two persons, and there is a coach which can be transformed in a good bed for two persons
- It is a very central historic location, with many bus lines around
- the host is very kind and helpful
- there are many shops around on walking distance
- there is a big library in the appartment
We hope to come back,
Wim and Annemarie de Kraker
Amazing flat with an amazing rooftop in an amazing located area offered from an amazing woman- Merav, thanks so much for everything. It was perfect!
Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitability. We enjoyed your nice apartment as well as the wonderful terrace surrounded by all those trees and flowers. It is like a small Gan Eden.
With all the birds, especially the kolibri’s who were sucking the honey from the flowers and from the small reservoir that you hang near the table on the terrace.
We had a wonderful time in Jerusalem.

We loved this apartment. It was easy to keep cool and the roof terrace was great in the evenings. Everything we needed was provided. It was easy to find, in a good location with easy access to the city, a ready supply of taxis, buses and local shops. The owner, Merav, was very helpful and easy to communicate with, which was much appreciated.
