We really enjoyed our 2-night stay at Henk's place which is situated just two minutes walk from Vorticellaweg bus stop. Henk was such a good host and provided us with wonderful breakfasts each morning, The accommodation is at the bottom of Henk's beautifully kept garden and consists of two rooms with a shared kitchen and toilet/washing facilities if the other room happens to be occupied. Fortunately, it wasn't during our stay. The kitchen was very clean and well stocked. The B&B is about 20 mins by bus from Amsterdam Central Station and costs 2.5 Euros per person.During the day the bus run every 10-15 mins, and every 30 mins from 7:00pm.
Henk and Anita, such an excelllent hosts!
We really felt looked after by them. Our son really enjoyed their garden and their cat, Mo.
The down thing was huge road Works all over the Street... (Just like in the jungle: water and mud...) while our stay.
But it felt really good when we went through the door and felt really confortable in our space.
Breakfast as most people have already stated... Really Great!!
We'll definetely consider it if we come back again to Ámsterdam!!
We thank Henk and Anita for having us!
It was nice in the little gardenhouse in their beautiful backyard in a very sweet neighborhood. We loved Henk's breakfast: buns & breads, croissants, fresh fruits, cakes and coffee or tea. Good to have a small refrigerator in the gardenhouse, too.
Also the shower and the toilet were small, but practical.
We got along bretty good with our changing "neighbors" in the gardenhouse: they were all very nice people and so we "arranged" us in everything: times in the morning to use the bathrooms, times for breakfast and "sleeping times".
We enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and we were lucky to stay in the suburb and being able to use the ferry (for free!) to go downtown.
We wish everyone who is interessted in a short-trip to Amsterdam a great summer and a woderful stay at B&B North Ling!!!
We had a nice time at henks b&b north ling.
Everythink was perfect, especially the breakfast.
Henk is a good host and we hope to see them again.
The housing De noordeling is very nice, small but functional.
The area is very well served by bus.
Henk and Anita are very friendly and hospitable and they offer very good complete breakfast.
We will come back, Greetings
Assia and Lucas
We had a lovely 3-day stay in amsterdam with Anita and Henk. Cute, cosy cottage with a yummy breakfast. It took us about 20 minutes by bicycle to the ferry to get into town. So all in all a super stay in Amsterdam.
Thank you Anita and Henk
The appartment was very great. The place was very nice and perfect for relaxing, the rooms are very clean and not far from Amsterdam Central Station. Specially the breakfast every morning was very wonderful like a 5 star hotel, we enjoyed it. Henk and Anita were very lovely and an excellent host. With best wishes Alex and Alex :)
Excellent weekend at Henk and Anita.
The welcome reception is warm, rooms are beautiful and spacious.
Congratulations to the hosts for the wonderful breakfast.
We shall return with pleasure to Amsterdam!
It was nice to stay there, a marvellous breakfast, and the garden! Having a chat with Henk, practicing my Dutch - all good.
Did not really need the city map, which was generously provided, but returning it after I had forgotten it in my car, provided me with another opportunity to once again visit this beautiful neigbourhood.
With best wishes,
Susanne & Annette
