Place was really small, nice and clean. Some construction in front of the house - therefore a bit noisy during day time. Kitchen was well equiped. Supermarket and bakery was not far away. Safe area. Just 5 minutes walk to the subway station. Herve is nice host. I felt a bit strange because of the 300 EURO because I did not receive any receipt after I paid it but finally I got everything back. TV was really old and small. Mainly french TV channels (no German TV channel). Internet connection was good.
The apartment is neat and clean, in a quiet area, not far from the Metro. Fully equipped. Shower is very nice (double) :)
Herve is very friendly and helpfull. We really felt at home during our stay!
Great host, very helpful. Comfortable, clean apartment...about 160 sf. Apartment was well-equipped with under-counter fridge, 2-burner cooktop, combo microwave-convection oven, washer (but no dryer), wifi, television, couch/convertible bed, table & chairs for 4, plus table and chairs for 2 on balcony. Very nice bath with large shower. Nice neighborhood, many shops nearby and OURCQ Metro station 4 blocks away. Neighborhood is working class, not as well-maintained by city as center Paris, but very friendly.
My wife and I wanted to spend a couple days in the heart of Paris without spending a fortune on a hotel. We were in Europe for our honeymoon so we didn't want to stay in a dump. We got in touch with Herve and arranged to stay in his studio. It was a little bit further from the metro than anticipated, but it was a great place to stay. We were able to cook, do laundry, take hot showers, and sleep comfortably. We didn't spend a lot of time there because we were out visiting the city and if you plan to spend a lot of time in your apartment, this may not be the place to stay, but it was great for the two of us in between our activities. We had some trouble getting our luggage out of the airport when we landed in Paris so we were about an hour late to arrive at the studio but Herve was still there waiting for us and was very understanding and helped us with everything we needed. Check in and check out went smoothly. Herve was a phenomenal host. The whole studio was clean and I would highly recommend this to any body wanting to spend a few nights in Paris in a local non-touristic area of Paris. It is best for a couple or just a single person. There isn't really enough room for a group larger than that.
Great little studio, clean, comfortable sofa bed, the balcony with table and chairs for two was a nice bonus, shower is excellent, we managed to park our car right outside the door, just hang around for 5 minutes and someone will move on.
Herve was easy to deal with and speaks good English. would stay again for sure.
The accommondation was just great, really clean and the landlord was so nice! We've spent some really nice days in Paris and with the metro was it no problem to go in the city center. I would go there again If I'm going to Paris again and I can just recommend it to everyone. Thank you again
This very comfortable studio apartment is exactly as described : secure entry, close to public transport, plenty of shops, cafes and food outlets nearby; short walk to the beautiful park, cute balcony overlooking the garden, fully equipped with everything you could need, and a surprisingly comfortable fold-away bed/sofa. Herve was not able to meet us on arrival, but his friend Isabelle and her daughter Inez were charming hosts and made us feel very much at home. Herve was right on time to farewell us at the end of our stay and very friendly and efficient in checking the apartment.
Our first visit to the19th was most enjoyable.
Hervé neatly noticed us one day in advance that he would be an half hour later at the apartment. The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully furnished. Especially the bathroom with rain shower was very nice and there were plenty of towels. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a fine bed. Wifi, TV and radio all worked fine. The apartment is only rented but not occupied continuously and therefore not "crowded" with personal items.
The apartment is located just a five minutes walk from the subway station (line 5, Ourcq), two minutes walk from a fine bakery, grocery store and supermarket. An absolute must, and perhaps even the highlight of our stay in Paris, was a breakfast in the beautiful 'Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, which is only 10 minutes away.
When we go to Paris again, we would certainly choose this apartment again, we would definitely recommend it to others.
Pleasant stay. There is everything you need, clean and comfortable. The shower is great. We liked to discover the quartier we didn´t know.
To be recommended
Definitely a charming studio, with all the facilities you need in the centre of Paris! The studio is located right next to a great park, which we didn't know, but liked a lot.Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. We enjoyed our stay!
