This is a fantastic house to stay in whilst visiting Copenhagen. It was in a lovely quiet street but within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. The house itself was lovely and had all the amenities that we required. Would definitely stay there again if we ever went back to Copenhagen!
We were a group of 8 adults staying in this appartment and it was still very convinient. There was enough room for cosy evenings and of course everyone to sleep.
The location is perfect - just walking distance to any attractions.
All arrangements worked also fine, including an early check-in to the appartment. Thanks to Morten for that!
I can warmly recommend.
The location is fantastic and the house is a good size and cosy, the street is very friendly, we love Copenhagen the people are very trusting the place is clean we would love to return thank you. What is worth considering is standard size pillows rather than your square pillows we did find them rather uncomfortable on your neck.
We really enjoyed our stay in this house.
It has plenty of room and has everything you need for à long weekend.
We liked the neighbourhood and did everything by foot.
Kopenhagen in december is à must see, if you want to get The Christmasfeeling.
Tivoli is full of Christmastrees and there is light everywhere.
Be sure to bring enough money, because our women could not stop shopping :-)
The whole experience was very easy and straight forward. Morten as a host was helpful without being intrusive. The apartment location was fantastic. Great for exploring the city and nearby Norrebro. We loved our street, it was a lovely, festive, Christmassy haven - full of lights and cheer. The apartment had all that we needed - lots of space, well equipped kitchen, huge TV, separate dining room.
If I had to suggest a couple of things for improvement then these would be 1) Mend the doorbell - as a group of four it was difficult getting people's attention to be let in if coming in separately (and the living space is on the 2nd floor!) 2) Have better quality bedding on the beds. 3) Have more than one toilet/ bathroom - this is a huge ask admittedly, as one cannot alter the design of the old buildings, but this really impacted on our stay as we felt we were constantly waiting to use the bathroom. If there had been more than 4 of us I don't know what we would have done, this apartment would not suit the 8 advertised.
Despite the issues mentioned above we really did love our stay in the apartment and felt very comfortable and at home. We researched for ages an apartment that would give us a good balance of living space, bedrooms and bathrooms and I don't think we could have got better. Thank you.
Lovely area with the lakes (reservoirs) at one end of the road and the Botanical Gardens near the other end. House was comfortable and well equipped. Easy and pleasant walk to Norreport, takes about 10 minutes and that places you on the edge of the pedestrian shopping streets. Would choose to stay here again as it is so well placed, and the neighbourhod is quiet. There is a cafe at the end of the road which serves nice freshly prepared food at a reasonable price. There is a book in the house giving the history of this area, although it's in Danish the pictures tell the story and it is very interesting.
My husband and I spent 2 weeks in the downstairs apartment in Wiedeweltsgade 45 in Copenhagen. I liked the downstairs bedrooms but the rest of the apartment was only average (considering the price I would have expected a better quality of general accommodation). The linen, bed covers and pillows were of poor quality too; and one became incredibly hot using them. However, the worst was the noise on the street. It seems like all the houses were under renovation, and the nice little courtyard could not be used because there was so much dust and noise that it was impossible to use it most of the time. Also, very limited space even for two people. I would not recommend it to anybody.
I would rate the place as a 2-star (at the most) place to stay.
Excellent accommodation, lovely little street, well within walking distance of the centre of Copenhagen. Would certainly recommend!
