Tiny House in Besiktas
|住所||Göknar Sok, 34394 istanbul, トルコ|
This sweet apartment has 60 m2 and fitted with one bedroom with a double bed very comfortable and a big closet. The living room has a sweet sofa bed suitable for two, a TV, a desk and a dinning table with chairs. The open kitchen is in the same area that the living room and is fully equipped with all the appliances for cooking. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and all the necessary for your daily needs.
Directly across the Bosphorus is the area of Üsküdar. The district of Besiktas includes a number of important sites along the European side of the Bosphorus. For instance you will have the Dolmabahce Palace in the south and the preppy chic area of Bebek in the north.
The neighborhoods of Levent and Etiler are also very nearby.
Additionally Besiktas is the best area for reaching all necessary public transportation means.
If you are considering to stay at my place please contact me. I would be happy to give you more information about my flat, the neighborhood, pricing, and of course how to get to my place from the Airport for instance.

I can recommend this accommodation. Verry nice is the balcony. The apartment was clean and tidy. There was everything you needed. Fridge, washing machine, stove, microwave and so on.
The apartment is in the near of the big shopping street Istiklal and the Taksim Square. The Galata Tower und the Galata Bridge can be reached on foot in 20-30 minutes. Tarik was very friendly and gave us some useful tips for the city.
We enjoyed our stay at Tariks place a lot. The room was clean and neat, towels and linen were provided. There's a fully equiped kitchen and a common room where it's possible to prepare and eat your own food. The staff was very friendly and helpful even we arrived really late at night.
All in all fully recommendable!
There were only two tiny negative aspects:
- the address is very hard to find for taxi drivers even if it's only from Taksim square, because it's a small street. So make sure you have Tariks phone number with you. Call him and hand the phone over to the taxi driver so he knows where to go and you don't need to pay lots of money for just driving around and trying to find it ;)
- second thing was that it was a bit loud outside as there is a large street around the corner where there's a lot of traffic. So unfortunately it's almost not possible to keep the window open at night. But there's an air-condition anyway ;)
Guest house in Beyoglu was a good choice for staying in Istanbul. Tarik (the host) was very helpfull, we couldn't find the place on our own so he sent his friend to pick us up on Taksim square. The room was nicely decorated, clean and tidy, had everything we needed. Good value for the money. Downside of the location is very steep street up to the Taksim and unsafe looking neighborhood but the police station is very near the place. Overall, we were satisfied.
Very nice guesthouse in Beyoglu/Istanbul. Everything was well organized and Tarik was very kind and helpful. He gave me support and advices for the transfer from the airport to the guesthouse. The guesthouse has a simple but nice modern style. Everything is clean and in good state. The guesthouse was most frequented by younger persons, mostly students from abroad, backpackers or people like this so it's a friendly and unconventionell atmosphere there. The kitchen is always the center of social life in the guesthouse where you can talk with others and exchange experiences. The area of the guesthozuse isn't quite sophisticated. It's a part of the city where usally not the richest people of Istanbul living but it needs just a few minutes of walking to reach the Istiklal Caddesi in the center of Taksim. I wouldn't recommend the guesthouse for people who are senisitive of noise. Usually the acoustic level raises when the muezzin from the near mosque start to call the prayer when sunrise. With the begin of the daily rushhour and the school in the neighbourhood and their loud interval signal for the breaks the noise level raises more and more. All others will be quite happy there :-). I wouldn't recommend the guesthouse for travellers with luxury demands but anybody who is looking for place for sleeping and base to discover the town will have good time there.
We had a really good time in the apartment. It was clean, all things you need are avaible. In the street are good opportunities to get something to eat. You reach all the sight in a relavitely short time.
My friend and I enjoyed our stay in these suit rooms in Beyoglu in Istanbul very much. Both 'hosts' (during the night and during the day) were really lovely people!
The place is fine and comfortable. The onliest thing I want to give feedback about is that it was not really clean.
We were glad that the beds were ready in both rooms when we arrived at nighttime. And Tarik guiding the taxidriver through Istanbul to his place. That was a good service.
We also liked the area where we stayed, to see houses getting rebuilt in a beautiful way. We felt quite safe, also late in the evening.
Es war alles super.freundliches personal.nur die gegend ein wenig gruselig..
Very nice people, the service is very good and the rooms are clean and nice.
The rooms in the rez-de-chausee are however unbelievably dark because you have to keep the blinds closed all day if you don't want people to stare into your room.
