Value for money and location, really very good. The apartments are smaller than I would have thought considering the pictures. But for a big group it works very well.
Our host had arranged a van to take us (4 adults and 2 children ) to the flat. We arrived late in the evening and reached the flat at about midnight. Upon arrival, a mistake caused by the people hired to arrange the flat, was noticed. Our host immedialle took action and solved the problem satisfactory. Later on our host compesated us for the mistake. We left the flat early in the morning in a van arranged by our host. We fell well taken care of by the host.
The flat is very centrally located. We could make sightseeing in all directions by walking.
The apartment was good. The only problem was that it was double booked for the first 4 days. Mr. Nazio did put us up in a hotel 2 blocks away at no expense to us so it worked out okay except for the fact that we had to move in the middle of our vacation.
Small place but very comfortable, close to the Metro line and to the Vatican City.
A very good contact and correspondence with Pino. We did not expect wonders in the middle of Rome, but expected at least the place to be clean.
Location is great, but be aware of theft in the area. Never leave anything in the car or even car itself on the street. The glass in my car was broken and belongings stolen. Next day the rented car was robbed as well. This is certainly not the fault of the owner, but I would suggest to clearly place a theft warning. This area is crazy with Police being complately hopless (they admitted it themselves!)
First of all, the location of this apartment is exellent for people like us. It is on the slope of the Vaticano hill on a stair between two streets. Very green area, a traditional house in the historical place, really beautiful. This summer was abnormaly hot, but due to the good location the temperature was reasoanble even without air conditioning, and the air-conditioning also worked well. All necessary facililies were present (wash mashine, refregirator, kitchen, wifi). There were minor problems with wi-fi (it was necessary to choose a proper place inside apartment to use it). There was a small place outside the apartment where it was possible to have dinner, when the weather was not too hot,
The owner was friendly.
This place has a good connection to all important palces of Roma (subway in 5 minutes walking, buses, local trains). A lot of shops including 24 hours supermarket near the Cipro station. A beautiful view from a hill near the Aurelia metro station.
Apartment was unavailable due to unexpected building reformation but owner offered me another apartment with similar characteristics and 200 euro discount on booking price. About the apartment I stayed I can say it has 3 rooms (7 beds in total), 1 kitchen and 2 bathrooms. One with two showers but the other without. I was a bit disappointed because of that. The apartment is in the fifth floor without lift and all windows facing to backyards.
All in all, we had a good stay in Rome and the apartment’s location is beneficial as it is close to Termini station. The neighborhood is not very clean though. There are a few comments we have about the apartment which you might want to take into consideration:
- The air conditioning (in 2 of the 3 rooms) didn’t work and even after contact with Pino (who texted that he would take a look at it), nothing was fixed and we didn’t hear from him anymore
- We found ticks in 2 of the beds and also several blood stains on one of the sheets
- Take into account that 1) The apartment is on the 5th floor and 2) that the showers are really small (so not suitable or comfortable for everyone)
We stayed on Termini's appartment a group of 7 friends on September 2014. There are 3 bedrooms: 1x2 single, 1x1 double + 2 single and 1x 1 double + couchbed. The bedrooms are wide and well illuminated, undoubtly the best of the appartment. The kitchen was pretty good, too little for 7/8 people but ok for t intend to spend much time on it (no living room but good bedroms), the place is ok but 25min to Colosseum not 10, and the cleaning must certainly be improved.
A pleasant stay at Termini area and the owners treated us very well. What you pay is what you get, the flat is well equiped, the pics are real pics of the flat, there is no way to get confussed. A must if you want to do a 1-day trip outside Rome (Florence, Ravenna, Cerveteri ....) and, at the same time, wanna be near the main monuments of Rome.
