Sophisticated Studio in Rome
It is on the third floor of a building of 1600. To give a good idea of the size necessary to compare in a little sailboat.
Entering the apartment you are in a very small room equipped with a kitchenette, fridge, table with 2 stools and cupboards. From this room you climb a wooden ladder to the loft where you will find a queen size bed , HI FI, TV LCD and Air Con hot and cold.
The bathroom is small but complete with shower, toilet, washbasin and bidet. Very comfortable, this apartment is ideal for young couples who want to live on a budget, the magic of the old town.
This is probably the most popular square among Roman young people, and one of the favourite sites for visitors.
During the day, Campo dei Fiori is bursting with life and hustle thanks to its colourful market, in which you will find fresh vegetables and fruit, inexpensive clothes and souvenirs sold by easy-going locals that always enjoy a good chat, whether you are a new comer or you have already visited the Eternal City before.
During the night, Campo dei Fiori changes its face completely, and the food stands give place to people from all over the world.

thank you very much for the good service. We had a wonderfull time in Roma. Since we were right in the middle of everything, we had a lot to see...
The taxi was on time and we were very good in time at the airport.
All for good, we enjoyed the stay,
I stayed here with my girlfriend for a week in October and loved this cosy little flat. The living space is quite small, but given that we were out and about most days that didn't matter to us. The bed was very comfortable, accessed by a ladder next to the door. Getting changed on the ladder took a little getting used to (there isn't room to stand up fully on the bed), but we soon got the knack. There is no lift in the building, so the flat isn't suitable for anyone who can't climb a good few flights of stairs.
The kitchen area consists of two gas hobs, a sink and a fridge. It is well provided for in terms of pans and crockery, so we happily managed to cook a few meals in the flat. However, one of the great advantages of the flat is its location and the many wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby, so we didn't need to cook often! Although the area is very central it was very peaceful at night and we slept very well. We decided for our return journey to use the Terravision Ciampino airport bus instead of the taxi service offered. This turned out much cheaper for us. The Terravision office is on the north side of the station, just outside. Thanks Luigi for a wonderful stay - we hope to return to Rome one day!
On the WIMDU site, Apartment Garibaldi was an idyllic place to enjoy a stay in Rome. Everything was very attractive and tempting, but when we arrived on the 18th of July, it was quite disappointing. It was not an apartment on the grond floor, but a small living/kitchen area for 6 persons - certainly not for ten) with a basement converted to bedrooms with a rather noisy ventilation system. There was airconditioning in the daytime living space, but it didn't work despite the instructions in the "appartment-book". (fiddling a bit with remote-control, switching on/off, disconnect from power socket, reset divice reset remote control). I E-mailed daily with Luigi, without any lasting result. The first days the kitchen lacked a tap (broken) which would be repaired on Monday. So wather had to be taken from the bathroom. In our absence the tap was repaired and Luigi had a look at the airconditioner (it worked was the comment). Wel it didn't, and after 3 more days, suddenly somebody entered the apartment. Quite a shock for my wife being there alone. It appeared to be an engineer to repair the airco device. It took 3 persons over an hour to repair it on the pavement in the street. But it had brought a lot of inconvenience. And we couldn't leave the house.
And coincidentally, not Luigi's fault, it apparently was the hottest summer for a century (all the Romans we met complained about it). And we could not even open a window, whereas the front of the apartment faced full southwest, it was an oven.
The bathroom was incredably filthy: mould all over the extempore shower area and the floor was porous, soaking up filth, soap etcetera. Hairs from previous guests, a sanitairy disaster area.
It was that my children and their guests were booked on an airplane on Friday, so we had to serve our time there, but we (my wife and I) left on Friday, diillusionised. It was a waste of money.
We didn't have any contact entry for WIMDU, so we were forced to accept it all.
