First of all we really enjoyed our stay. One probably wouldnt want to cook a Christmas feast for 10 in the kitchen, its a bit small and the apartment faces the street so there is a bit of street noise but its low traffic and is pretty quiet at night, we slept well. Plus we stayed for 3 weeks and the kitchen was just fine. The best thing, apart from the nice owner who is very easy to communicate with, is the main room, it is really bright and spacious. Surprisingly so. Its a nice place to be. The building has character, and the area is brilliant, with a plethora of pubs and bars, some fancy, some grungy, several with craft beer. And a turkish place at the start of the street (or across from it) with a changing array of stews and stuffed things.
The Wohnug lies in the Pester part of town, near the marguerite bridge; the places of interest are well accessible on foot or metro. A tpically Hungarian old building; the only "drop of bitterness" is that the flat goes from the the street and this is surely driven on.
Otherwise it was a nice stay here, also because of the uncomplicated kind of Eszter.
Very clean and big apartment. Eszter was very kind and helpfull. We can definitely recommend the apartment!
A nice clean appartment. Close to the old center and the bridge to Buda.
We really enjoyd our stay in Ezster's place.
We had a very nice stay in Eszters apartement for 4 nights. It was good situated within walking distance from the railway/metro station where we arrived from the Airport.
You could also catch a tram on the main road not faar from the app. It was in a quiet area but still restaurants/bars and small 24h open kiosks nearby. It was fun living among the locals. The apartement was big, light and simply furnishured. The bedsofa was ok. What we miss - there was no warderobe with hangers and a hairdryer would have been nice...
It was really worth the price!
Fantastic! Eszter had been extremely helpful even before we got to Budapest, and the apartment is very nice, well equipped and perfectly located. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful city. Thank you, Eszter!
