We had a most pleasant stay in this apartment with Nicolette being an excellent host. The apartment is well set out, tidy, complete and in a great central location.
Absolutely gorgeous place to stay during your visit to the Hague. Perfect location, very easy accessible by walking to all attractions. Public transportation stops right on the corner of the block. Nice view from the window of the street canal. All rooms are very spacious. Kitchen has all needed accessories. Very quite and peaceful location.
Nicolettee very friendly, warm and helpful owner and host. Will definitely stay in Nicolette's place next time we visit the Hague. Thank you Nicolette for your hospitality.
We (my wife, our 20 year old daughter and me) visited this appartment over easter for about a week. The appartment is part of big set of appartments which can be reached through a single door in the Noordstrat. It is in the 2nd floor and can easily be reached via elevator, either from the ground floor or the basement (in which the parking lots can be found which belong to the appartments). The door to the parking lots is in the Breedstrat, and a barrier-free entry from the streed is possible through the entry to the parking lots. There is a 3-minute walk to the garden of the palace, a 10 minute walk to the town centre, a 5-minute walk to a small "Albert Heijn" super market down the street (without parking facilities, Torenstraat 27) or a 6-minute walk / 3-minute by car to a really large "Albert Heijn XXL" supermarket with lots of parking facilities up the street (which we discovered two days before leaving, Elandstraat 160; you should take this, it is MUCH larger than the one in the Torenstraat!).
We really liked staying in this flat very much. It is a very lovely flat, large and quiet -- the complete week we did not hear anything from any neighbour. There is one nice large double bed (not two single beds) in a large sleeping room where we could perfectly put the mobile bed for our small one, a kitchen with a small microwave/oven combination and a cooker based on gas, a large living room and a dressing room which leads to a balcony. You also find things like a washing machine, iron, hot-water bottle, water boiler, coffee-machine, toaster, etc. The thing our daughter was most impressed of was the cover of the radiators; she used to climb up the big armchairs and walked up and down these rather large radiator covers, looking outside through the large windows, being amazed by the town canal, the people downstairs and the birds flying around the trees.
The only thing we got a little trouble with was our car. The garage door which belongs to the flat has "standard" size, and our car was just too wide for this (only 2-3 cm space left and right of side mirrors which were not foldable on our car). So although the garage is large, we were not able to use it. Here I want to express our great gratitude to Nicolette, who quickly improvised and was able to organized us an extra parking place beside the garage which we could use instead. So in case you are going to book this appartment and you have a larger car where you are not able to fold your side mirrors, you should think about contacting Nicolette in advance -- probably she can reserve you an alternative parking place as well.
This appartment is definitely a good choice for a visit in Den Haag, and Nicolette is a really kind person. It was a pleasure for us to meet her and it would be nice to see her again sometime.
Just one word...Fantastic location for a business/living. Most of all a comfortabel appartment, to make your stay a home, away from home...
I stayed at this flat for 5 weeks in May through early June 2013, by myself for most of the time and then with my husband for one week. I have to say that it was truly lovely. The apartment is spacious and bright, with a view of the canal out of the front and a balcony for sitting outside at the back. The furniture is pretty and comfortable, the kitchen is modern and streamlined, and the bathroom is beautiful (the heated floors are a real plus!). Also, the location of the apartment is perfect, near grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. Nicolette was very helpful, and her personal touches throughout the apartment meant that I was not lacking for anything. I would absolutely stay there again.
The apartment is large and comfortable and has everything one needs. The living room has lots of windows and a nice afternoon light. It is close to restaurants, shops and a supermarket. The city center is within walking distance. Nicolette was a very kind host.
Was will man mehr?
