Just a short distance from the apartment, guests will find a bustling area providing a range of restaurants and interesting shops to enjoy. Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, Saint Peter’s Church and the Pestsäule Monument can all be reached within a 25-minute walk.
A nice place to stay! Everything you need is there and so very close to the subway!
Do you enjoy being screamed at when you have reserved (and paid for) an apartment, and you want to make an appointment to pick up the keys? Then book this apartment. I live in Vienna, I am used to the particular brand of "Viennese charm," but I don't think I have ever paid 1000 EUR for something and then been treated so rudely. I would have cancelled the apartment reservation if I hadn't had to pay the cancellation fee.
To be clear here: I called the owner in order to make a time to move into the apartment. I did not ask for any changes, and I did not ask for a time outside of the check-in hours, and not only was I yelled at, but I was also told that I was wasting her time. I bet she didn't waste much time spending the money I had paid.
The apartment itself is clean enough, though the building is quite shabby and undergoing renovations. The apartment is being advertised as having a washing machine, but the washing machine is broken.
The most positive thing about the entire apartment was Robert, who showed us the apartment and very carefully explained how everything worked and what to do in case we needed anything. I would have given him 10 stars, if it hadn't been for the rudeness of his boss and the state of the building.
