Tiny Price - Trendy Kreuzberg
|住所||Wiener Straße, 10999 Berlin, ドイツ|
There is a bunk bed, a single bed, and a sofa bed for 2 persons.
The room is private but shares the bathroom with another room on the same floor.
The accommodation is located in the famous district of Kreuzberg. While Berlin was divided, this neighborhood was a border area of West Berlin, where the rents were low enough to attract artists, dropouts and immigrants. For this reason, Kreuzberg has been known ever since for its multicultural flair and alternative subculture.
Night owls can enjoy the legendary `Kreuzberg nights’ especially in the area around Mehringdamm, Bergmannstraße and in the Oranienstraße. In Kreuzberg you will find clubs like ‘SO36’, ‘Watergate’ (both less than 10 min by foot) or ‘SchwuZ’: this area has something to suit everyone’s taste.
The Görlitzer Park is a beloved summer meeting place for young people. It is just around the corner.
If you want to chill out, the ‘Victoriapark’ is a popular relaxation area in in the western part of the district. Here you will find the eponymous Kreuzberg Hill, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view. During the summer, an artificial stream flows down from the top in the form of a waterfall.
Kreuzberg is well connected to the neighboring districts through the U-Bahn lines U1, U2, U6, U7 and U8, and the S-Bahn lines S41 and S42 (circle line). Unlike the eastern districts there is no tram network.
ハウスルールThe front house and the first rear building are ordinary Berliner houses.
The neighbors are very happy when it's quiet in the yard from 22 clock.
Smoking is not allowed in the guesthouse. You can smoke in the backyard.
Wifi is free. PLEASE NOTE: Germany is very strict chasing people who download content illegally and apply heavy fines. Please don't! We would like to keep the internet open for our guests.

The room looked just like in the picture, and was just by a courtyard that was really cosy. It was also just next to a small convenience store that held snacks, drinks and necessities - which was nice! The area also held plenty of restaurants with varying prizes, and a train station very close by.
The room was very spacious and even though we shared the bathroom with another room, we never felt it wasn't accessible. But maybe that had to do with the fact that we got up later than they did.
Now, the negatives included the pillows, which were very, very flat and airy in comparison to "normal" pillows in hostels and hotels. We solved this by rolling them for better neck support, but it was still a little bit of a nuisance. Secondly, there was an ant invasion during our two last days. The nights were okay, since most of them retreated, but at one point we had ants on all the beds and the table. I was going to let the office know, but since it was closed every time I checked (it was the weekend) I didn't find it necessary since I slept on the couch instead while my other friends were out of town during that time.
In conclusion, we had a pleasant stay apart from the pillows and - above all - the ants, which probably only was an issue for the people living on the first floor.
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room is big, has good beds and sheets and is clean. We shared the bathroom with the other (2person) room which was fine. Nice view on the 'patio' and no noise from the streets as it is the third building from the street. We could ask for new towels in the mornings and everything was explained to us very clearly by the lady from the freiraum office nextdoor. Kreuzberg is wonderfull, good bakeries nearby for breakfast, metro in front and oranienstrasse with shops and restaurants starts across the street. I will surely recommend this place to friends.
It was fine and calm stay. The room was well heated and the shared bathroom was only for us (the other room was unoccupied). Every bar/caffee/club/shop/gallerie/museum that we wanted to visit was situated very nearby . The forecourt was a pleasant surprise.
In the picture, the room looked fine for the price. But it came as a surprice that there were no visible host or other kind of reception, no common area or water heater. Just a room in the second backyard in what seemed a seedy area. (at least at night.) The shared bathroom was fine, the room was clean, though.
very friendly and helpful, lovely room with some nice courtyard space, thank you for having us!
We had a great stay in Berlin.
