The apartment is very attractive and complete with modern amneties for eating. There was a problem the first night with an alarm in the apartment below us and Valerie reacted very quickily to resolve the problem. Thank you Valerie! The location in the middle of the Quartier Latin is excellent. It would be nice if the owmer of the building would improve the entrance and staircase. All in all a romantic apartment with old world charm and an attentive lamdlord.
The apartment is very lovely and in a perfect central location. There are nice shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Valerie is a very kind host, especially her advice for restaurants and shopping :)
For the next visit in Paris this apartment will be our favourite.
Valerie is a charming host, and her apartment is equally lovely. It's a rather whimsical little place, with romantic decor, as the photos show. We had a comfortable stay. The location is very good - two steps from the famous Rue Mouffetard, in the heart of Paris' student area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars around. A couple of things to keep in mind - the apartment is quite small, as is typical in Paris. The photos make it look a bit bigger due to wide angle lens. Also, the staircase is quite a hassle, as the studio is located in a very old building (arguably, that could be part of the charm). Overall, I would recommend this place to a young couple looking for a memorable getaway in Paris.
Valarie gave us a lovely welcome. The studio was spotless and the studio full of antiques. Everything had been thought of. The Nespresso coffee machine was lovely. The area was full of excellent some excellent small restaurants and specialist cheese shops. The Metro station was very close by and took you into the centre of Paris.
ONE DRAWBACK was the very steep dangerous staircase leading up to the studio on the third floor. The treads need some attention as the tiles ( antique) look lovely but are loose and wobbly. In all a GREAT stay. Thank you.
The studio is lovely and situated on the most perfect spot in Paris. You have a view on one of the oldest streets in Paris, Rue Mouffetard in Quartier Latin. The bakery, supermarket, cafes and restaurants are around the corner. When the windows are closed, you practicly hear nothing. When open, you hear the music and streetnoise (no cars). The bus and metro are very near. In the Rue Mouffetard (no 104) is a very nice restaurant: TournBride. The interior and terras are nice, the owner is very kind and the food is delicious (www.cafetournbrideresto.com). For just drinking it's also a good place to be. Valerie is a very kind host, with al lot of information. The guidebook 100%Paris was very helpfull. It takes you to places you won't find in the other guides.
We had such a nice stay in Valerie's beautiful apartment. It is a nice and cosy place with all necessities. The surroundings is fantastic! We have been to Paris several times without knowing this area, and now we feel this is the best place to stay in the city.
Valerie waited for us with the keys when we arrived, and collected them at the appointed time when we left. She had a lot of useful information to give, and we really felt she wanted the best for our little holiday.
The studio was very well located. Nice boutiques, fromagerie and marker just around the corner. The metro and bus station is only 1 minute away. In addition, car parking is located 100m from the apartment. The studio was a clean, complete and well decorated. The owner, Valerie, was very friendly and helpful. It is a magnificent place! For sure we will come back.
