The apartment is very good situated, in a dead-end quiet street, just 5 min walking distance from city center. There are grocery shops and restaurants basically at the door of this place. There is also a farmers market and a deli nearby.
The room was really nice, clean and roomy with big comfortable double bed. The kitchen was ok for having breakfast, but it was a little too small so it was hard to cook at the same time as the host family, but with the selection and quality of restaurants around, this was not a problem. Memo and Camilla and their little son are very friendly and helpful hosts, they are happy to answer all your questions and make you feel welcome all the time.
Very friendly and cool family, would not hesitate to stay with them again.
We had a great time in Kopenhagen! This, due to the location were we slept. Memo was a great host. Very cosy. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. sharing the appartement with memo, was very nice cause memo gave us many tips, were to go eat, drink or shop! The bed itself was very comfortable.
Thank you very much memo, next time in Rotterdam!
I really enjoyed staying at Memo's room. The apartment is located next to the water in the beautiful part of Copenhagen, close to the many well-know places like Tivoli. The hosts are really nice and helpful. I recommend this offer :)
It was great to spend the weekend in Memos room. Nice room, nice location, nice people. Ever again, Thank you.
We had a lovely stay in Copenhagen. The flat was very central and in a very nice location. Both Camille and Memo were really helpful and wonderful hosts.
We had a splendid stay in Copenhagen. The apartment is very nice, clean, and close to the metro station. Nevertheless, the location is perfect to walk to most of the sights in the city including the center, Nyhavn, the little mermaid...
Memo was a wonderful host and provided us with all we need. He always was more than happy to answer our question and had several good advices on where to go for us.
Memo was a very friendly and helpful host! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Camilla and their son as they often go to the grandparents house outside of the city over the weekend. Memo used to work as a tour guide and told us a lot about the city. Sharing kitchen and bathroom was easy and uncomplicated. The flat is very close to the city center, so one can walk everywhere, but bicycles can also be rented nearby. The street Nørre Søgade is pretty busy, so if somebody needs a very quiet bedroom, sleeping with open windows might be a problem.
The room was perfect for what we needed for our short, one-night stay in Copenhagen. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room clean and tidy. Memo was helpful and we met his wife and son very briefly in the corridor on our way out to explore Copenhagen. We were delayed in arriving by a couple of hours so we sent a text and tried to call a few times but Memo didn't answer the phone. He was, however, in the apartment to meet us when we finally arrived. One thing that I think should be made clear in the description is that the apartment is shared with a family with a young child. We were actually woken up at 4:30am by the toddler crying for quite a while so we didn't sleep too well. We also had to leave early in the morning and it wasn't made clear to us what we should do to check-out so we just left the keys in the hallway. All in all though, it was a good value alternative to staying in a hostel or hotel.
Camilla and Memo are really lovely and the room is great. In the very centre of the city and even offering a view of the lakes! The bed is very comfortable and large and it was very nice to be able to use the kitchen.
All the best and I would definitely recommend it.
