Its only 5 minutes to the main and big street of Istanbul, central and easy access to everywhere in the city.just 2 minutes to the Metro station and 5 minutes to Tramway.20 minutes by walk to taksim square and sultamahmet area. Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and it is the country's economic, cultural, and historical capital. The city's biggest attraction remains its historic center, partially listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but its cultural and entertainment hub can be found across the city's natural harbor, the Golden Horn, in the Beyoğlu district.
Formally called Constantinople, Istanbul was the capital of the Roman Empire and Europe's wealthiest metropolis, and is now the largest city in Turkey. Here you will find a fabulous city that spans Asia and Europe. In Istanbul you will see how old meets new when you visit the "must-see" historic sites such as the Blue Mosque , one of the most famous monuments in both the Turkish and Islamic worlds.
The room is very basic, just a comfortable double bed and a cupboard. One has to climb a breathtaking 90 stairs to get there. The view on the Bosporus and the Old City is also breathtaking.
The shared bathrooms and kitchen are OK. The hostel staff is accurate and very friendly.
A simple, but good Turkish breakfast is served.
It is situated in a nice, lively neighbourhood.
Close by, at the foot of Galata Tower, you will find restaurant Kiva (excellent food and best coffee) and restaurant Güney (delicious aplle pie ice cream).
We enjoyed being here.
It's very close to Galata tower and you can go to Istiklal street soon, very nice location.
The view from our room was really beautiful. The room, bathroom were clean. We enjoyed our stay in there.
incredible, wonderful, fantastic view! Nice Breakfast! If you are lucky, like me, you can see Bosphorus and Golden Horn from one room.It is very clean and tidy, everything there what you need basically.
But the room is not recommendable if it is still cold and you really need a heating, there is just a little Ufo think over the bed, the windows are very antique, are not keeping the wind outside. If you book this room because you like the antique style, you will not be very satisfied with the furniture, it is just simple and cheap. If I may advice something to samane: put a kind of carpet in the bathroom, otherwise it is very uncomfortable to step out of the shower on the cold and naked floor. The area is nice and you can reach public transport and nice shopping and nightlife Area in ten minutes by feet.
Very good and clean place. We had corner room with fantastic view on Galata Bridge and rest of the city. Personal was very pleasant. Hostel placed in the best location and we enjoyed walking nearby. We'll definitely book again if we'll stay in Istanbul.
small, clean room with fantastic view in an old ottoman house.
It is part of a hostel , not private.
It is in the fourth floor, many steps to climb. Breakfast in hostel about a hundred metres away, but very turkish and absolute
okay.Many european schoolclasses around.
Great place to stay for people how love simple beauty. The room is really charming.
we had a very nice time at samane's. The room is not very big but exactly the same as the descrption and Samane is a lovely person!
Samane was very nice. The room is small but that doesn't matter because the whole flat is so pretty and clean. Moreover it's one of the best areas in Istanbul... and the view is just amazing!
