To me, a young girl used to travel a lot and sleep in several places such as hostels, the apartment was fine, a confortable mattress and a big room with plenty space. The problem come when are my parents the ones we're speaking of.
The negative point would be that windows couldn't been opened and the room stink because of that.
The apartment was very close to the center, with lots of buses passing by it.
I'll be back soon, my parents maybe not xD
It was a nice place which was also very clean and getting access to it is very easy with keyboxes and codes. It´s also very easy to get there from the citycentre. In this flat are 4 rooms and the only thing I have to criticize is that you can hear everything through that wall which was right near the kitchen. Our other flatmates wanted to get up very early and it was impossible to stay asleep. Beside that everything was there and it was sorrounded by a green garden, very beautiful.
I went to London with my 72 year old mother and I decided to book a room with Sidney. It was my first time booking via wimdu and Sidney was very helpful and very quick to answer all of my questions - Thank you Sidney
The room we booked was very nice and precisely as described.
The process relating to getting in to the building and the room is simply brilliant and easy to use.
The room it self was clean and the extra mattress was very comfortable (I didn't feel like sharing a bed with my mother)
The kitchen was nice and functionel and the bathroom was clean and there was enough hot water to take a nice shower.
The only thing missing was an ekstra mirror in the room - we shared the apartment with other guests so in the morning we had to be considerate and finish our morning routines in the room, and a mirror would have been nice
Transport between city and the apartment is extremely easy, because there is a bus stop, with many routes right in front of the door and eating out near the apartment is recommendable, we found a nice pub, with good food within a 5 minute walk
The host cancelled the booking, this review is automated.
We had a really nice time in Sidneys apartment.Clean, comfortable and in nice neighborhood.I would definitely go again!
The owner has worked it out well. Getting in without them present worked very good. No need to be there on time. Even arriving late at night is not a problem. Close to the Overground and busroutes. No towels included in the room so make sure you take your own or make an arrangement with the owner. There are possibilities to get towels. The room is not very big, but big enough to sleep in (even with two kids in the room). If i would return to London i wouldn't hesitate to book here again.
Great place quite neat. Easy accesos to centre
I'm still a lil new to booking places to stay so I admit didn't realize we shared a bathroom. That aside, the Presedential Suite was large and kept comfortably heated. Going up the stairs to the room smelled off and that did not really set a good first impression. The rooms were all clean but the shower was possessed, couldn't make up its mind to be hot or cold and rhe lights in the bathroom flickered. The plus sude was that buses stop literally at our front door so was easy to hop on one. Overall, we got what we paid for but was a lil disappointed.
Comfortable room in a nice area of London, functional and fully equipped kitchen but the negative point is the bathroom. There is only one toilet in the bathroom for the four rooms and several persons are living in each room so that you need to queue in the morning to use the bathroom. I had my 7 years old son with me and he couldn't wait for the toilet so it was difficult in the morning. The other negative point is the hallway from the building entrance to the first floor even in the stairs there is no light so we had to use my cellular phone's light ! We stayed 3 nights and we had a good sleep the 2 first nights but the last one several boys had just arrived in an adjacent room. They came in late in the evening and were very noisy, they spoke loudly, slammed the door so that I had to get out of my bed and ask them to respect the persons who were sleeping. So it is a good place to stay for a holiday but it will depend on the persons living in the house at the same time. The unique toilet which is furthermore in the bathroom is really an inconvenient. Otherwise, New Cross Gate Station is really close to the house and we can go quickly to London Bridge, there are also many buses, and a big Sainsbury shop with a pharmacy. The house is well located !
I liked the district but it was a little bit far from the centre. Good accomodation, the room was clean. The only problem is that there are more or less four/five rooms and only one bathroom.
