good public transport connection. shower is not stable. cleaning lady is not polite. we were 2 hours earlier arrived, we wanted to leave our luggage in the room, recharge our cellphone for 10 mins. she said we are interrupting her work.
beside, please make a big note KAZZOS on the front door, took us a while to confirm this is the so called b&b. generally speaking, the price and location are good.
The room and kitchen were very clean and seemed to be newly renovated. Besides minor problems (others already mentioned the shower (only boiling hot or freezing cold water), and the toilet didn't flush properly, everything was great, would definitely recommend it!
A tip for future guests: To open the front door, don't push the key fully into the lock! We thought we'd locked ourselves out, but the friendly neighbours could help us...
Absoute great deal and value for money. 20 minutes walking from Brick Lane. Room and bathroom were tidy and clean.
Unfortunately the shower didn't work properly and the water was either cold or boiling. Beside that, you may struggle to find anything better for this money in London Zone 2.
it was a nice and clean apartment and i loved my room and also the other people living there were very friendly...the only problem and which was not solved while iw as staying there was the problem of shower in the bathroom, it was either very hot or another one was only cold other then that its a nice accomodation if this problem is solved.
Nice decorated room and very tidy place in a good location!! well equipped kitchen (includes an oven and a microwave) If I ever go back to London I´m sure I will repeat!
The room was really nice and fresh (though it smelled a little to much of some sort of cleaning detergents or something, but I guess that's better than the opposite ^^). The kitchen was also very nice and well equipped. The house is close to both Stepney Green and Bethnal Green, and it just took 5-15 minutes to the city, depending on where you wanted to go! Perfect!
A little varning - we had a lot of problems with the locks and when we arrived it took us quite a while to get inside. So if you think you've got the wrong place - don't give up! Eventually it will give way ;)
Only downside was that the shower was a bit tricky and changed temperature from time to time. And there wasn't any toiletpaper for a couple of days, so we had to buy some for us and the other guests in the apartment. Maybe it wasn't supposed to be included? Feels a little weird if that's the case though, so I guess it just was forgotten!
We didn't see Kaz during our stay, but he was very helpful and friendly when we contacted him via mail. All in all a very good place to stay! Will come back if we go to London again!
Very nice apartment, really clean and tidy. Near to metro station. Only minus: main door can be a bit stubborn ;-)
We had at nice stay. The location is great. It is 10 min. walk from the metro in a friendly neighbourhood.
The apartment is nice and clean, and it is defiantly god value for money.
The appartment was fine, kitchen and bedroom were great, neighbors were excellent.
Location was really good, between two metro stations, Bethnal green and Stepney green.
I traveled with kid and just around the corner there was a Childhood Museum.
