Cozy Room in Great Area with Wi-Fi (ME4)
|住所||Mile End Rd, E1 4UN London, イギリス|
Boasting tasteful, modern decor, this private bedroom contains a comfortable double bed and a wardrobe. The tiled communal bathroom features a bidet and a bathtub with shower, and the shared kitchen provides laundry facilities.
The Whitechapel area was once most famous for Victorian poverty and Jack the Ripper. Though the Ten Bells pub still remains, the district has become one of London’s most popular tourist destinations. Brick Lane offers everything from vintage boutiques and festivals to world-class Curry Houses and vibrant markets.
Stepney Green Underground Station is just a 5-minute walk away, and offers regular services to other parts of the city. For guests with an interest in history, there are many guided tours available within the area.
Nice room, quiet location.
The flat is located in a very hip area, so if you visit London, this is definitely the area to be around Brick Lane - but I cannot recommend the place itself as it lacks any comfort or even standard.
There are 4 bedrooms that are exclusively rented to visitors - so if you hope for some Londoners and insiders - better forget about it. It's like a 'hotel-house' that runs itself. (Except there are cleaning ladies the day you leave.)
With whomever you travel - you have to share the bedsheets. And the bed already had its days... It is half-decent but not clean and it still gives me shivers when I think about the bathroom: The drain of the bathtub (where approx. 7 PAX shower each morning, If every guest that 'fits' in the house showers), was blocked every morning and evening - so better be the first to shower! Otherwise you're standing in what is left from your forerunner.
There is no one to give or take the key, you receive it via pincode from a little locker next to the frontdoor - but that door was barely closed or locked during our stay - so that didn't really meet my standards of feeling safe somewhere.
Also the backyard - may it be an important aspect or not - looks abandoned scruffy. So this is definitely one of the cheapest stays, but still not worth its price. I can not recommend it and I will not come back again. It is just a place someone makes a lot of money with, because the demand allows him to do so.
We didn't meet the owner but he explained everything by email... From the outside the apartment doesn't look so fancy, but it's acceptable for the price we paid. Apartment was clean, sheet as well. No problems with the other people staying in the apartment. Location is great, 3 minutes walk from Brick Lane. Well connected by bus with liverpool street underground, that is just 15 minutes walk! Highly recommended
Even though we didn't manage to meet, Kazzos was very quick to response and friendly.
The room was just as described and all in all I had a great stay in London.
Thanks a lot!
No hot water for 3 days. 6 rooms shared 1 bathroom
In advance we were confident that the appartement would be fine. In accordance to the price we were not expecting much but the reality shocked us. There was only 1 bathroom availeble and the the only available toilet was situated in the bathroom. We were forced to use this bathroom with 6 other rooms (12 guest) The result was that the bathroom and toilet were occupied all the time. There was no warm water left and the toiletpaper was not available. The room was verry noisy. You could hear everything the merchant on floor level was saying. And the busy street did not hel either. I would not recomment this room to anyone.
Nice room. Great host.
I definitely enjoyed my stay in this house. The place looks exactly like the pictures. It's very clean, as someone often comes to clean the kitchen and bathroom. There is breakfast cereal, oatmeal and tea and instant coffee available, and they have all of the utensils necessary to cook your own meals. If you don't want to do so, there are many takeaway options and food markets nearby. Each room gets a compartment of the fridge, so it's easy to keep track of what's yours.
It's in a nice neighborhood, close to many fun markets and stores. There's an underground station 5 minutes away (Aldgate East) which makes it easy to get around the city and is still in zone 1. The neighborhood has some parks too, and is relatively quiet.
I'd definitely recommend staying here.
Hi, we just stayed in August in apartment and everything was allright. The keys was there when we arrived. The bathrooom and kitchen were clean. Our room was clean and street little bit noisy, but we get used to it. There is Tesco infront of house, and we could cook some food also. In neighborhood, there are plenty resturants and bus stop few metres from apartment. People who shares the flat, also tourist were nice.I recommend to buy an oyster card when you travel many days in London, for example for 7 days permanent, because you press down your money for public transport for 6-7 pound a day. Normally this money is for one ride (4-5 pound). Also my girlfriend was ok with accomodation and if we go again to London we can stay in the same spot. For breakfest you can take cornflakes, wifi is free and the apartment is around 20 minuttes to centre of London. The tube station is 3-5 minuttes walk. There is also cinema and nice cafes and restaurants near location, but what I appriciated was that the Tower Bridge was only 25 mittues a walk with a bay , where night life in bars going on, and where we went to famous The Dickens pub and had brtitish beer. If you depend on luxury accomodation, just have hotel, but for good money, the accomodation was perfect.
Noisy, no coffee for breakfast as written in the booking, more than 2 dass no cleaning service (which is quite rude if 7 people share one bathroom), but hot shower, centrally located and nice sleeping room.
