The Venetian Dream apartment is located in one of the six Sestieri, the urban areas in which Venice was once parted, called Castello. At walking distance from the stop Giardini, this area is well-known for hosting the prestigious Venice Art Biennal, as well as for the authenticity of the Venetian landscape enjoyable in its quiet alleys, the calli. The district, which opens to the stunning San Marco basin, is very characteristic. And just a few steps away is the lively Via Garibaldi and its local food market selling fish, fruits and vegetables, together with the best shops of the city centre, from boutiques to small crafts shops. You can choose a different restaurant every day, among the numerous of the area or, for those who prefer home cooking, buy typical products from the local food shops. Highly evocative and romantic, especially at dusk, is the waterfront Riva degli Schiavoni, which leads you to the amazing San Marco square, passing right in front of the equally evocative Ponte dei Sospiri (the Bridge of Sighs). Once you have crossed one of the world's most beautiful squares, you will find Calle XXII Marzo, where all the famous Italian designer boutiques are located. Easy to reach is also the Venice Lido, well-known for its amazing beaches and the internationally famous Venice Film Festival, which is just one vaporetto stop away from the Venetian Dream apartment.
Unless otherwise stated in the individual descriptions of the properties, the arrival/departure times are as follows:
Arrival: between 3 PM and 8 PM.
Departure: between 9 AM and 10.30 AM.
Arrival from 8 PM to 10 PM: 20 euros.
Arrival from 10 PM to midnight: 40 euros.
Arrival from Midnight to 3 PM: during this time period, we do not allow guests to check in.
(Luggage deposit can be found at train station at a fee - so please check directly with the relevant locations what the arrangements are).
- TOURIST TAX:
From the 24th of August 2011, all visitors who stay in an accommodation facility within the territory of the Municipality of Venice have to pay the “Tourist tax”.
The overnight tax varies from € 0.75 in low season to € 2.00 in high season. It is due only for the first 5 days.
Kids under 10 years of age do not pay. Youngers from 10 to 16 years of age have a 50% reduction.
The collected funds will help the City improve the quality of the tourist services (services, museums, events...) and finance works aimed at maintaining, using and salvaging the city’s cultural and architectural heritage.
Extras that can be ordered upon request and prior to or during arrival (but please give us as much notice as possible):
A baby cot: €10
During your stay, you can require an extra cleaning: from €50 to €70
Private parking upon request: €25 per day
We really enjoyed Vinice and our stay in this appartment made our expereince even better. Modern Appartment with all amenities. Grocery store and all restraurants were within 2 minutes walk. Strongly recommend this appartment.

Certaines de ces personnes donnaient des informations contradictoires.
Le site WIMDU ne contacte pas les hôtes, il ne connait pas ni appartements, ni les problèmes, ni les hôtes.
le site WINDU m'a demandé de communiquer avec une personne de FAVILLE TOURS qui ne travaille plus avec eux !
I communicated with 10 persons to rent a single apartment.
Some of these persons did not know the apartment, confused the name of the apartment with another apartment. Some of these persons gave contradictory informations.
The site WIMDU does not contact the hosts, it does not know either apartments, neither the problems, nor the hosts.
The site WINDU asked me to communicate with a person of FAVILLE TOURS who does not work any more with them !
Très bel appartement rénové au calme avec tout l'équipement nécessaire
Situé à quelques minutes à pied de la place Saint Marc dans un quartier calme et sympa(bar, resto, petits commerces)
Petit bémol : climatisé mais seulement dans la pièce principale.
L'adresse peut porter à confusion: la ruelle Corte Nuova donne sur Via Giuseppe Garibaldi
Very nice apartment for a big family with good spaces and many beds. The apartment is located in the heart of Venice, near everything. Can definetly recommend this flat to big groups who would like to stay in Venice.
We loved Venice, but sadly the accommodation let the holiday down a little, wasn't terrible, but for the money and the lovely photos didn't live up to our expectations. Was far to small and ants everywhere, probably won't book with Wimbu again, sorry.
The apartment was beautifully decorated and with good facilities. Location was also as expected with a small courtyard at the back. Very good arrangements on arrival so we were accompanied to the apartment (addresses not much good in Venice unless you know where to go!) and told where the nearest supermarket was. Local restaurants and cafes have a really "local" ambience even though you are only 10 minutes walk from Rialto. Winter was fabulous-glorious blue skies every day-and plenty of bustle. New Year exciting in St Mark's Square- we wonder how we'll ever top this for 2014 !!! Heartily recommend !
Very nice apartment. Couldn't log in into the wifi, but everything was fine.
The apartment was just as described and matched the pictures. It was close enough to all the tourist hot spots without having that crowded feeling. The famous fish market and Rialto bridge are all within a 5 minute walk. I would definitely book again with this host.
Recommend without hesitation, a wonderful apartment in quiet residential location, away from tourist hussle yet only 10 mins walk from station and 5 mins from boats. Close to shops and restaurants. Spacious, modern, excellent value for money. Also has small courtyard. Very helpful host.
We were 5 architects visiting venice for the architecture Biennale. The appartment was next to Arsenale, and it was even more great than it apears in the advertisment photos.
Realy clean, nice, good location, cheap.
