Presidential Suite One Stop from London Bridge
|住所||Fairlawn Mansions, SE145PH London, イギリス|
The flat is 200 meters from New Cross Gate Station, which gives you access to the Overground and the mainline railway (Note: the Overground is connected to the tube/underground - it just runs over ground - all tickets are valid). There are also numerous buses, which pass the flat and go straight to central London, including several night buses, so you can always get home no matter what time of night!
You can be in Trafalgar Square (by train) in just 15 minutes. The vibrant and eclectic area of Shoreditch is also just 15 minutes on the Overground. The location is ideal for any tourist or person working in central London!
So far all the guests in the flat have been very nice, interesting and very respectful of one another. I believe that they have all enjoyed their stay. The apartment is maintained daily to a high standard.
In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are 24 hour food shops, cafes, restaurants, a big supermarket (Sainsbury’s) and bars all within walking distance to the flat. The flat is very close to Goldsmith University campus, so could be an ideal base if you are visiting the university for a conference.
The apartment is really convenient if you are visiting the Olympic games this summer. It is just 20 minutes by bus to Greenwich were a number of events are taking place, and just 20 minutes to the stadium at Stratford, via the Overground and Jubilee Line.

Our Room was very small but we found everything we needed (exept a bin..but there was one in the kitchen). The only real Problem was that out door made a loud noise every time we tried to open it so we constantly annoyed every one else in the flat at night. But, talking about the other people, they were all super nice and we got really well along.
Sidneys message for us to find the flat was lovely and very easy to understand. There was neither a problem finding the flat than getting the keys.
The flat really is directly infront of a bus stop and in about 2 minuted walking distance to the new cross gate underground station. On the way to this is a big Sainsbury in wich we bought out food.
All in all was it a really really nice trip and we enjoyed staying at the Latin Room.
The apartment was nice and clean and our room was large and comfortable. The wifi was strong and fast! It took around five to ten minutes to get to station, from which we were in the centre in 10 minutes. We were happy to be able to check in at 2am and also leave our bags in the apartment on the last day as we had a late flight back. Sidney is a very nice and accommodating host. We will return for sure.
The photo looks charming, but in reality the room was shabby and and the noise from the road was terrible, many buses and cars , a very busy route. I had earplugs so I made it trough the night. Also the bathroom was not very clean and it was messy. The toilet + washbasin was in good condition.
From New Cross Gate it took us 30 minutes to get to the centre where all the touristattractions are. When I phoned about heating they response was good and I got quick instructions and help.
It's a cheap place and I guess that says it all.
The room itself was small but cozy, and even though we stayed there for 5 nights it was perfectly fine for us. The kitchen was clean and had everything you could possibly need for a basic meal. Although the bathroom was a shared one we never got into trouble with other guests, as everybody tried to spend as little time as possible in there. So showering in the early morning or evening was no problem at all. However, as there were some ladies in the house, a small bin in the bathrooms would be lovely..plus shutting the main entrance door was quite hard and we spend around 10 minutes trying to shut it when we left the house for the first time. Maybe some fixing would be nice :)
Apart from that our stay was lovely and we would defenitely come back to the apartment! It´s almost directly in front of a bus stop, the railway is only a 7 minutes walk away and there are plenty little supermarkets to get food easily. If you´re looking for a clean, nice and basic place to stay for a few nights, I would defenitely send you here!
The room was very small, but this was okey for only sleeping. our opinion was onley, that we miss a shelf.
only 5-7 minutes to the next underground. thanks!

Before arrival: communication worked well, however, it can take some time until you receive an answer, so just take your time and do not talk about essential details the day before your arrival. From Victoria Coach station, it takes you 30 min to get to the house. It's located in zone 2.
Arrival: worked very well. www.tfl.gov.uk comes in very handy when looking for ways to get to the house. By overground, you get to London Bridge Station (Tower Bridge) within 7 minutes. And: Get an oyster card! You'll need it.
Accomodation: The room, of course, is not too big, but, it was clean and more than sufficient for our three-day-trip to London. The bathroom and toilets are clean, too.
Host: Sidney is a good host and tries to help you whenever he can.
I had a nice stay in London with my kids. Sidney was very kind and alway available for questions (regarding the appartment, public transportation, the city of London, etc). There is a bus station directly in front of the house. The bus bring you directly to the city centre.
Sidney is very nice and attentive, the place is perfectly located and affordable.
I'll definitely come again.
Just one thing : the room miss a table lamp to make it cozy at night, the bed with the head so close to the heater is not a good idea. But hey it's constructive feedback because everything was nice even the most tiny shower I've ever seen ;)
