Comfortable and Beautiful Room
The house has gas central heating and a large kitchen overlooking a paved garden. It is a short walk to the local shops and buses to Brixton and central London.
There are excellent links to central London by bus, tube and rail links. It is just 8 minutes by bus to Brixton tube station and just 5 minutes by tube to the west end. It is a short walk to Tulse Hill train station which runs a 15 minute over ground service to central London.
No pets allowed.
Late check in fees may apply.
Please leave the room tidy on check-out.
My sister and I do not live at the house but when possible we offer a Meet and Greet Service from Brixton and Streatham Hill for a small fee.
The place was great and Comfort is a very helpful host. She picked us up at Victoria station and drove us to the bus when we we were going home :-) The other people living there are friendly and we had some nice chats in the kitchen.
Moreover, the area is very colourful and it is close to bus stops, shops, and pubs. Furthermore, you are close to Electric Avenue, the first street in London to have electricity...A fun fact and something you have to see when being in the area. Complimentary tea, coffee, and chocolates. :-)
Nice room, not far from Brixton by bus.
In the house, there is everything you need.
Only flaw, the wooden floor that cracks and is noisy.
Very good for a small budget.
Comfort and her sister were very friendly and responsive to mail and phone. We used the meet and greet service Comfort offers, so that we had no problem to find the accomodation.
The apartment was perfect for us. It was quiet, we slept well and in the morning we could make some sandwiches for the day and prepared tee in the room and in the small kitchenet in front of the room. We shared the bathroom with another friendly person who I think is a permanent resident.
We used the public transport system to move in London. The apartment lies in zone 3 and it takes 20 to 25 minutes to the center of London. There is no problem to get back even in the night.
We spend some nice days in London, thank you for that!
Everything as planned and as in the pictures. Clean room. Comfort's sister picked us up (very helpful). Highly recommended.
I would recommend. Clean room with good public transport. The very friendly and helpful owner.
Nice place to stay and really friendly host!:) Everything was clean und the room is as nice as you see on the pictures. The great bus and underground system in London makes it possible to get nearly everytime in the city in max. 25 minutes!
Good choise and next time we would pick the that room again!
We had some great days in London/Brixton !
Unfortunatly we didn't have the chance to get to know Comfort, but her sister Brunmy welcomed us very warmly - we felt comfortable right away.
The connection with bus and train to the central and all other important/interesting places is great. The room is as pretty as it looks like on the pictures-only the restroom could be a little more tidy.
We stayed for three nights and arrived late at night but Comfort met us at the station and drove us to the apartment, that really helped! The room is very nice, well equipped, the only drawback is that it got cold in the morning. Friendly flatmates, sometimes there was a queue for the bathroom. The location's great, it's a quiet neighbourhood but only a short walk to many buses to every possible location in central London.. and a there's a Sainsbury's very close too.
we stayed for five days, and had a good time in london! the connection to london central is good, but you have to walk a bit. the room was cold (heating did not work, tv as well), the cleanness of bedroom and bathroom was ok. comforts sister bunmi was very helpful and friendly! lambeth/brixton is a nice and cool part of the city. we would recommend this place to anybody!
It was a great stay at Comfort and Bunmi! They were both very nice and helpful. The room was nice, clean and functional.
Central London was indeed not far and the bus, which run frequently throughout the day, were convenient.
Just one advice: book without hesitation!
