Very family friendly, nice, rustic resort "DroomPark Hooge Veluwe", surrounded by trees. Outside the resort, 4 km from the centre of Arnhem, directly by the woods edge. For shared use: park, swimming pool, indoor pool heated (01.01.-31.12.). Basketball, children's playground (slide, swing, sandpit). Private: terrace, garden furniture. In the complex: reception, restaurant. Parking. Shop 3 km, supermarket 3 km, railway station "Arnhem" 3 km. Please note: baby equipment (extra). Motorway closeby. The photograph is a typical example. There are more similar properties for rent in this same residence. Buitengoed Hooge Veluwe is the middle of the woods, right in front of the National Park De Hoge Veluwe, just three miles from Burgers Zoo. The Open Air Museum is also nearby and within twenty minutes by bus in the bustling center of Arnhem. , Pets only on request and at extra fee payable locally. Child bed included in the total persons count. Longstays (longer than 21 days) on request! Please note: workmen not allowed.
Will definetly recommend to others.
The car park is accessed either by an illegal manoeuvre ( turning right when a right turn is not permitted) or you can find a road which is a detour of about four miles. Everyone does the illegal manoeuvre but it is not at all ideal.
The interior was not great; no airco of fan (so HOT), bad kitchen equipment (old or simply missed) and not quite clean.
Staff of Interhome gave us good support.
There are two super markets down the hill(mountain?) which is just enough to
have everything you need.
One thing you need to be careful is that this entitiy does not have WIFI connection. If you really want to connect to internet, you need to prepare by yourself.
We stayed in the appartment during Christmas. The appartment itself is fabulous and located in a wonderful, but quite village. All rooms, big kitchen, furniture and facilities were well taken care of. A practical space for a family, like ours with two young children. Forests for walking is near. Shops and cities are further away. A good option is to drive to the closest train station to catch one of the trains that take you through the whole country, with its nice towns and to Luxemburg city for just 4euro a day, children under 12 yrs travel free. Food and wine in Luxemburg are nice, so we enjoyed Christmas very much.
