Nice apartment in the Latin Quarter (Hospital 1)
Floor No.(with elevator)
|住所||Boulevard de l'Hôpital, 75013 Paris, フランス|
For several days or more, enjoy a very cozy apartment, situated in a quiet building in a landscaped courtyard. The apartment has an area of 30sqm including a bright main room, separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, a shower room with separate toilet. Thank you note that the flat is "ready to live". It was renovated in 2010, furniture and equipment are brand new. Cooking utensils are provided in the apartment. There is a large bed 140 x 200 cm and a sofa bed 140 x 200 cm. A cot can be provided upon request (10 euros per day). A Service Pack (including linen, cleaning and some household items) of € 45 is to be added to this apartment.
There are many shops, bars and restaurants just outside the building. A market is held in front of the building every Tuesday and Thursday mornings until 13h. A supermarket is open until 22h Monday to Saturday and other food stores until dawn. The apartment is located between several tourist areas and very much alive: the Rue Mouffetard, the Place d'Italie, Bastille and Bercy Village. Running times on foot starting from the apartment: - 3 minutes to get to the Jardin des Plantes (botanical garden open to the public) - 5 minutes to the Seine - 15 minutes to the Rue Mouffetard (one of the oldest streets Paris with its many traditional shops: meat, fish, dairy, bakery, grocery, ...). The coffee bar from the Place de la Contrescarpe (at the end of the rue Mouffetard) stay open until 4am - 15 minutes to the Place d'Italie (many shops and shopping center Italie 2) - 20 minutes for the district Bastille (great place for nightlife and night) - 30 minutes (or 15 minutes by subway) to the Parc de Bercy Bercy Village. Access to major tourist attractions is very fast and very simple. By metro, you will arrive in minutes to the Louvre, the Place de l'Opera, Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower or the Champs Elysees. The metro stations closest are "Gare d'Austerlitz" and "Saint-Marcel" (2 minutes walk). The neighborhood is very quiet and safe.
The location is great and the beds are okay. But the place hasn't been cleaned for years (everything you touch in the bathroom and kitchen is brown and sticky and it smells), the neighbor below is a drunk and/or a junk who plays real loud music in the middle of the night (not one night, almost every night) and has heavy fights with his girlfriend till early morning. And if you think that an elevator is a benefit, realise that it's only 50 x 20 cm.
It was a nice stay in Paris for the hole family - 2 adults and 3 kids ind the age from 6-18 years. The appartment was bigger than we had thought from the pictures on the website.
Be aware of the parking prices if you come by car - as we did - and the traffic in Paris on a saterday night...
Very nice area, clean and quiet flat.
The place & price of the unit was great.
The condition of the unit not so great.
Black mold in shower, stove would only turn off at breaker box, mop in bathroom was so rancid could hardly take the smell.
To small for 4 adults , should have been told that when we booked.
2 rolls of toilet tissue for the week for 4 adults.
1 towel each for the entire week. We did get extra 4 towels but had to go to office to get them.
1 set of keys -had to go to office to get a second set.
no wifi available.
no broom or dust pan to sweep floor.
left a note saying what needs to be looked at.
We spent 3 days in this nice flat. When you visit Paris, want to stay close to the city and only need to sleep and have breakfast in your flat this flat is perfect. Our only negative comment is that we were missing some ventilation in the bathroom which had mold on the ceiling, but we have mentioned this to the owner of the flat.
About what I'd hoped for, neither better nor worse. Well equipped kitchen was a plus. However, while a sofa bed is never going to be ideal, the mattress on this one is barely an inch thick. My travelling companion had a bit of a rough time trying to sleep on it.
great localization and very nice apartment - which was fully equipped. We have some problems wit keys at our arrival, but they were solved in 15minuts! The only minus is for lack of blankets - there were only 2 for 3 separate bads. I believe it is not a problem during hot summer, but it was 14 Celsius degree when we were there.
The accomodation wasn't quite what the website said, the appartment wasn't as 'new' as promised. A lot of mildew in the shower, some light bulbs and TV out of order.
Good location instead.
Nice appartment with top location. Have small comparely new kitchen and nice beds.
Wifi connection but the accescode is not provided.
Located right with speciality shops and lot of cafes and restaurants. You can walk to everything from the apartment.
The doorlink do not work so if you have to open for guests you have to go down from 6th floor to manualy open the gate.
The flat was in good condition, it was clean and we were provided with sheets, pillows, towels, cutlery, etc.
The bed was ok but the sofa bed was very noisy and uncomfortable, the toilet wasnt that great either but we survived, and the bathroom would have been fine if it wasnt for the mold on the ceiling.
The area is really good, with loads of bars and cafes, it seems like a young area with many transport links, Notre Dame and the Cemetery were only a few minutes walk, so it was convenient.
Overall it was good accomodation for the price that we paid.
